We Built SparkShift Because the System Was Failing Working Adults

In 2022, our founders watched colleagues — smart, experienced, hardworking professionals — get passed over for promotions because they couldn't navigate new digital tools. Not because they weren't capable. Because nobody had ever taught them properly. SparkShift Academy was born out of that frustration. We design courses specifically for working adults in Singapore — people with full-time jobs, families, and real lives. Every course we run is practical, jargon-free, and immediately applicable to your day job. No theory for theory's sake. No coding bootcamps disguised as business courses. We partner with employers across finance, healthcare, logistics, and the public sector. Our instructors are industry practitioners — not academics — who have used these tools in real workplaces. Class sizes are capped at 20 so every student gets personal attention. Since 2022, over 1,500 professionals have trained with us. Many have gone on to lead digital transformation projects at their companies. Some have landed promotions. A few have started their own businesses. All of them made a decision to invest in themselves — and we are proud to have been part of that journey. All eligible courses are SkillsFuture credit claimable. We also work with corporate L&D teams on subsidised group training under WSG and SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SEC) schemes.
